Hi Doug,

Sorry, not as quick as Control-G but very close? I would say that's about
four keystrokes to get to it. Not nearly efficient enough. I don't like
the timespan approach for a single date, surely you could hook Ctrl-G in
there with the interface running?

All the best

Steve

Steve,

Actually you can do both things. First, if your regional settings in
the Regional and Language Options from the Windows control panel is set
to show the date as dd/mm/yy then you can enter that. Since you live in
the UK I'm assuming your Regional settings are set this way so it will
just work for you. In fact, when we show the date(s) currently being
displayed in the appointments lisview, the date(s) are show in your
regional format.

As for the goto date, we don't have this as written. But we do have the
custom timespan. If you select custom then you can tab to the start and
end date. If you don't fill in the end date then we assume the single
day from the start date. So if I were viewing some day but wanted to go
to say January 5, 2009 I would press alt-s (for the custom timespan),
tab to start and type my date which in US would be 1/5/09 or in the UK
it would be 5/1/09. After typing the date I could press alt-P to get to
the appointments listview and press f5 to refresh to my new
appointments. So yes, not as quick as alt-g date and enter but very
close. Also, remember our custom timespan allows for a range of any
timespan which you can't even do with Outlook itself.

Regards,
Doug
