While I can appreciate your dilemma, you are mixing apples and oranges 
here.  GWMicro cannot release something that just isn't ready to go.
What would you suggest they do -- release a less than ready version just 
so you can say there is 64-bit support with WE.
I don't keep up with such things; but check the offerings from other 
developers as perhaps they may have something that might work in your 
situation.
Releasing such a program, if it hasn't gone through the necessary testing, 
debugging, and tweaking is a recipe for headaches both at the user end and 
a pr nightmare for a company.
