But how helpful is it when a very reasonable question is asked, i.e.,
can you give us a time frame, and the response is a glib and utterly
unhelpful one, couched as if it's the funniest answer ever given to a
question? Well over two years ago, GW Micro staff stated on Main Menu
that a 64-bit version of Window-Eyes would be very easy to do. In the
ensuing years, when people have expressed concern, their concerns were
shrugged off. Now, when the corporate wolrd is going 64-bit, concerns
are still being shrugged off, and people wanting, heaven forbid, to keep
a job are just told by you and others to suck it up and stop being so
selfish. Seems to me we have a problem here. Those who were told two
years ago that it would be extremely easy to do have the right to know
when they can expect it to be done.--D.K.
