Ugh Jim, honestly all of this immature bashing is rediculous! GW Micro are
not in the dark ages! they obviously know that any release of a version of
Windows Internet Explorer is going to impact their users.
Also, the rest of you, please kindly step back and stop expecting instant
gratification like four-year-old children. GW Micro will never first of all
release anything that they do not believe will function as expected. At
this point perhaps they shouldn't have even released an interim upgrade and
forced everyone to wait longer for the next release at all? If something
doesn't function as expected, well as they say 'Guess what!' this is what a
Public beta testing period is designed for.
Last, all of the cross-posting on this list is annoying. Kindly use Blind
Copy if you so desire to send out all of your hateful dribble to others!
Thanks!

actually yes because as a user I want a solution. and I don't want to
have to pay twice for said solution. I also don't want to find myself in a
situation where I am
unable to use a number of programs because support was not added where it
needs to be. brows mode support is huge. it means having access to cloud
based aps. it means having access to html 5. it means being able to save
money on a number of free aps. so if they fix brows mode right here right
now. then they are going to have to do it again and because of this the
app support I am going to need and want will probably be delayed. so I
would rather have a delay right now. because the web is till useable. if
the delay getting this support is six months from now then the apps we are
all going to want to use will be delayed and then it is a problem. so gw
micro take note that brows mode support needs to be ready soon after
internet explorer 9 is out.

Jim
It's not a hard concept; but, from the user standpoint, I don't view it
as
truly acceptible either.
Yes, I understand the logic behind it -- and if I were in GWMicro's shoes
-- I might view it the way they do.
But I don't work for GWMicro, I am not a cheerleader for thenm, nor an
apologist for them; I am a user who seeks a solution and, if something
crosses my desk prior to their fix, I will consider going that route.
Plain and simple.
Now, is that such a hard concept to accept either.
If something better comes along, I go there.
