Hi, Margaret. Don't press X to exit. Press A to bring you to Advanced Options. You cannot tab to it as you would think, but you can press the letter to get to it. Then, you can uninstall Window-Eyes. Remember, Window-Eyes must not be running when you do this. I haven't had to do this for a while, so I hope I got it right. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Margaret Thomas" <[email protected]>

When I insert the CD, the installation starts. I press x to stop it since I want the emergency removal tool. I'm not finding anything about advanced options when I explore the CD. Could someone please tell me where this emergency removal tool is? There was only one CD in the cardboard folder.

Thanks,

Margaret

You can remove it in Add or Remove Programs or you can insert the CD,
click the advanced options button and click Window-Eyes Emergency Removal.

Hello All,

I've somehow totally messed up Window-Eyes. It loads, but, among other problems, the Control Panel won't load. I'm not finding an uninstall option under Programs in XP Home with SP3. Do you uninstall it in add and remove programs in control panel in My Desktop or is there another way you are supposed to use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Margaret
