Hi Margret,
The installation should not start automataclly. I think it's just loading
eht audio files necessary for the installlation. I don't remember but I
think you have to use the mouse keys to get to the advanced options button,
it's been a while since I did it. Since I first installed WE I've never had
to do it again.
I think you should not use explorer to explorer the CE. Just click "take no
action" on the options and let the cd prompt you. When it says "Press enter
to install with speech" then you routh the mouse to the box and use the
mouse key to choose advanced options. However, most of the time if you just
tab you can also find advanced options and just hit enter.

When I insert the CD, the installation starts. I press x to stop it since I
want the emergency removal tool. I'm not finding anything about advanced
options when I explore the CD. Could someone please tell me where this
emergency removal tool is? There was only one CD in the cardboard folder.
Thanks,
Margaret

You can remove it in Add or Remove Programs or you can insert the CD,
click the advanced options button and click Window-Eyes Emergency Removal.

Hello All,
I've somehow totally messed up Window-Eyes. It loads, but, among other
problems, the Control Panel won't load. I'm not finding an uninstall
option under Programs in XP Home with SP3. Do you uninstall it in add and
remove programs in control panel in My Desktop or is there another way you
are supposed to use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Margaret
