I've never had Window-eyes crash when just sitting on the desk top. Seems to happen most often if I'm on the net. Bill

Most computers come with so much junk on them and who knows what interaction everything will have with a screen reader. My Linovo Laptop has all sorts of linovo stuff on it and I'm trying to decide if it'll be OK to just uninstall it. It's not like the old days when you just got a computer and an install of Windows on it. Just some thoughts. I use NVDA nearly full time, and also have Window-Eyes scripting turned off. I only bought Window-Eyes because of the Remote Assistance feature, which I cannot use in the demo, fair enough. So yes, unless the next major version is decent enough I can see myself putting my money towards donating to NVDA.
