Hi, this is as it should be. After all a hyper link is a html control just like a edit box etc. So how come headings don't follow this rule. I mean I still here heading 1 text blah blah Verces text blah blah heading 1. Also how come speech user don't have as much control over what they here as the braille users have over what they feel. Another question is how come button names are treated as data verces names. For example you have the save as dialog. You tab to the save button. The phone rings it is your mom you spend some time with your mom talking. Been doing this a lot here lately as my mom is about to get hitched. Anyway you come back to the computer and you need to refresh your self where you are.so you issue the feeld name command. Window-eyes beeps. So you issue the data or summery command. Speaking of the speak summery command is there some reason the control type is not provided? Don't get me wrong I think the guys at gw micro are doing a wonderful job. These are just a few questions I ask my self at times. We won't even talk about keyboard layouts. I have givin up on that one smile.
