Exactly, so many people living in a capatalist market don't really know what they have until they compare their lack of choices in another kind of market, but that's a different conversation. The development of so much new technology coming into the world isn't coming from North Korea, or Saudi Arabia or The Republic of Congo for a reason. And it is coming from places like America, Canada, much of Europe and Australia New Zealand and Japan, parts of Asia, other capatalistic systems for a reason. Risk-taking, innovation, doesn't occur much when you know you won't do well financially in the long run for all your efforts, when much of your efforts go towards supporting the government class and your rulers. . With capatalism, you have individuals choices you'd never have otherwise. Then the company needs to continue to innovate, produce, and give quality customer support to keep their customers. That's why I love GW. If they can fix something, they'll try their best, given resources. If they can't duplicate something, they'll tell you. No sarcastic comments like see your rehab professional if you want this or that feature. Then amazingly, out comes a wonderful product!

The main reason you have a great screen reader such as Window-Eyes is that
"free capitalistic" market so many of you seem to hate.
Quality products only exist thanks to that competitive market where risk
are rewarded and winners and losers are determined.
Sellers need incentives to sell, develop, market and all the rest.
Take away that potential profit and you will quickly see better and better
products stop coming on stream.

No one likes paying, but on the other hand, be glad that there are
products out there worth paying for.

In his heart a man plans his course,
but the Lord determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9 (NIV)

Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21 NIV)
