Steve and others,

I just thought it prudent to point out that GW-Micro like other
assistive technologies are not purely in the market place because of
the unique customer base of minorities like us. It would be misleading
to hink that Window-Eyes isn't being subsedized by tax payers via
taxation whether for education, rehabilitation or for employment
purposes whether private to public life. The disatisifaction that
often isn't heard whether in the Unied States of America or
internationally is that GW-Micro is only one piece of this complicated
puzzle known as accessibility. Quite frankly that I admire their
tynasity thus far but there is only so far that Window-Eyes onto
itself can accommedate literally thousands of existing to new
technologies on the market today.

In a wrap up, I admit that capitalism can facilitate growth but
I'm not finding Window-Eyes useful for our own productivity. I've
known and worked wwith industries and am disatisified with the
existing infrastructure of the lack of cooperation towards these ends.
The ultimate goal of Window-Eyes shouldbe employment and all other
things are secondary. Think about it, if you empowered more purchasing
power to blind people for jobs, then that means more of a say in how
products are made. All of this in turn helps everybody but little to
nothing is being done by Amazon or countless other players whether
domestically or internationally and hence my anger with the existing
framework of technology for the blind today.

Thanks,
Peter
