Well, hello list, since this is such a hot topic of intrest, I'm going to throw my 2 sence in. I don't think that window-eyes has gone down the tube as it were. If it did, trust me, it would be all over the AT news, and I think gw micro (AIsquared), would have announced it. As far as development goes, it is actually good that AISquared, is not under Strengent timelines to develop, as it allows them to make sure that there product is the best it could be.What is interesting though, is what was mensioned about windows 10 and narrator, being better than window-eyes or NVDA for that matter? Well, I have tested the technical preview, and if they are going to make narrator better than Window-eyes or NVDA, they'd better get a move on, and fast. Since there is still talks of a window-eyes 9, I would presume it is still being actively developed. And if AI wanted to hand-off the development to microsoft, do you think that would have not been announced? Seriously, I understand the conserns, as I too am wondering about the development, but to presume that eh product had died, is kind of silly, since Mr. Clower still posts to this list, and if he didn't have his job, I don't think he would still be known as a technical support specialist. All your souls be still, because I am quite sure that a window-eyes 9 will definetly be released. I do not know when, or how long it is until the date, but rest and be pacient, it is coming!
