Hello listers. Thanks to Celeste providing detailed steps we figured out
why her Audible books are not storing their position. If you press stop
before you close the Audible file, it will return to the beginning of
the book when you reload it again. So, if you want to keep your place,
you can just space-z to close the media player without having to press
stop first. If you want to pause the audio first before you close Media
player, you can press space to pause. As long as you don't press space
first, your Audible file position will be saved.
This is by design so it is not a bug.
