I have a pair of Outi earphones which do not cover your ear canals at
all. This allows you to hear the Voice Sense speaking while still
allowing you to hear everything around you. These are good when moving
around and you have the Sense on. Now if you want to listen to audio and
you are not needing to hear other things around you, I have a pair of
Ultimate Ear earphones which mask almost all outside noise and you can
easily hear everything even at setting the Sense volume to 4. These
don't allow outside noise to come through which is good for listening in
a noisy environment, but not while moving around. So, if you are going
to be on a plane, train, or automobile, and you don't' want to be
bothered. It's my understanding that the model of Ultimate Ears I have
are no longer sold, but there are plenty of other manufacturers who make
similar ones. Just know they are on the more expensive side, but they
are well worth it if audio is something you want to enjoy to its fullest.
