I want to make it clear that the intent of my message was not to bash anyone or anything. Perhaps it was unnecessary but its intent was to ask that there be an acknowledgment that a. the problem was generalized and pervasive; and b. that it was regarded as a serious issue. Before anybody jumps on me, let me make it clear that I have no evidence to suggest it is not being taken seriously. However, what I believed was that there had been a large number of very specific problems raised. I had not seen Raoul's message of earlier today whan I sent my message out. Had I seen it, I probably would not have sent the message I sent. I am glad that we are heading toward a second beta. I appreciate GW and Raoul and I am happy to be a part of the process of making the voice sense the best machine it can be by providing what I hope is constructive feedback. I absolutely accept the notion that the beta user takes a risk and has no right to expectations of perfection. I am glad that what we are looking at is a temporary and unanticipated step backward, not a change in approach.

Therefore, nothing is guaranteed to work as expected. We did note in the readme that there are issues with streaming. Some of the streaming problems are more problematic in the Voice Sense and original Braille Sense and not the new Braille Sense Plus. I can assure you that this will be fixed and we don't plan on leaving it this way. I realize that this is frustrating at best, but we all need to remember that when using beta software, things like this can happen. Although we try to do our best to insure a stable release, this is not always possible. hence the reason for a beta. In the mean time you have the choice of going back to the 1.21 Voice Sense firmware, or giving it a few more days when we have another public beta which will correct this. Many thanks.
