Hi. the clarification is that this is a beta. Therefore, nothing is
guaranteed to work as expected. We did note in the readme that there are
issues with streaming. Some of the streaming problems are more
problematic in the Voice Sense and original Braille Sense and not the
new Braille Sense Plus. I can assure you that this will be fixed and we
don't plan on leaving it this way.
I realize that this is frustrating at best, but we all need to remember
that when using beta software, things like this can happen. Although we
try to do our best to insure a stable release, this is not always
possible. hence the reason for a beta.
In the mean time you have the choice of going back to the 1.21 Voice
Sense firmware, or giving it a few more days when we have another public
beta which will correct this.

to the fact that several individual links do not work when streaming
audio. I would make the point that virtually none of the hundreds of
links that I had set up will now work. This is a huge step backward. I
would like to know if this is a problem that applies to this beta which
is being worked on seriously so that it will be remedied in the final
release? I hope this is the case. If, instead, it represents a change
in the approach to streaming to which we will have to adjust, I would
like to make it clear that this seems a significant degradation in
functionality. I would almost propose going back to where we were
rather than staying where we are.
In any case, Raoul and others, I for one would appreciate some
clarification on the current state of streaming and what we can expect
in the future.

2. I first opened the web browser with B from the main program menu.
After the web browser launched I pressed enter-u to open a url. In

box I typed the full http address you provided and a file download
dialog box came up and allowed me to download the wave file which i
could later listen to from the media player by pressing enter on it
in
the downloads folder.
So bottom line, it's working, but you have to enter in the url from
the
enter-u edit box after the web browser has already been launched.
I will see what can be done to make this consistent. Good catch.
