Thanks for the input. I was certain we had some Gyros who had been through this. (Thanks Fernando and Grey). And thanks to what the others posted. (Sounds like Kyle is lucky to be walking. OUCH! That made my knee hurt just reading it.)
I know we have a lot of great doctors in this area and some even in this group. I stuck with the same doctor who saw me 5 years ago for the same knee but different issue. At that time we did rehab, I quit running and took up cycling. My MRI has not been read yet, I should know Friday or Monday. But based on my symptoms the Dr was certain of my injury. Some of you already said this but yes my rehab will involve spinning on an exercise bike and that will start soon after the procedure. Since this is the prime part of the year for cycling I was hoping to have as little down time as possible. I did 30 solo miles Saturday from PUE (the Gyros A- group passed me going the other way) but kept it in an easy gear the entire way. It was okay but not great. That ride probably had something to do with why the knee hurt so badly the rest of the weekend? I thought it was getting better but it was actually that weekend pain that made me realize I needed to make a doctor’s appointment. And sorry Grey. I wondered why I had not seen you in so long?
