The DFI nf4 definitely has my attention, like the Abit, except the board layout sucks IMO and the Asus is too expensive. I want one without the fans which pretty much narrows my options

The DFI LanParty NF4 boards are quite good. It is usually a toss-up between them and the MSI NF4 boards. I went with MSI for 3 reasons:
1. "Lanparty" is a dumb name for a motherboard, especially when I do little to no gaming at all. :)
2. I have had good luck with MSI in the past
3. I haven't ever used DFI, and I know they used to be mediocre.
But again, DFI appears to make a pretty solid option for NF4 solutions.
