True, I do have lots of time to play. But I still remember how my "play"

really dorked up my LAN. LOL! Assimilated I may become also......
Actually, am amazed at how complex these xdsl modems have become. The
Westell 6100
reads as though it is a single LAN port router with internal firewall and
other creature features
that I associate with a true router. Sheesh. Gonna get a fresh bottle of
aspirin!

DHCP in my router I could NOT get to the WAN. LAN worked fine. Pretty sure
it was something I did wrong but I just assimilated and went DHCP. I can
set the router to reserve ip's on the lan side so in affect fixed ip's
with DHCP.
