long in the tooth? What does that mean?
the only thing old fashioned about it is the lack of a side fan and lack
of ugly.

Antec P182 was great back in the day but getting long in the tooth not
to mention an old fashioned design.

It only has the side panel vent that my p182 doesn't have, otherwise
they seem similar, though the p182 has sound proofing. I might add
another in take fan at the front.

1-2 C isn't really a lot to worry about but yes your case has fairly
poor ventilation. The Cooler Master HAF 912 that I just got from the
Egg for $60 shipped is an awesomely ventilated case that is
significantly better designed than my CM 690. I luv it!

What does it mean when I get about 1-2C less idle-core temps when
my case is open (both sides removed) vs when my case is closed?
Should it be the other way around? Does it imply the case is not
properly vented?
