Wow, that is pretty bad. I wonder if she truly is a professionally trained librarian or a not well-trained library clerk. Either way, that was just plain rude. I'm so glad you set her straight. Your response to her was spot-on. Hopefully, she will think twice before speaking to another patron like that in the future. Esther
