I thought it worked out pretty well. If I had 6' walls it would have been better. I could have set up a better place for shoes and a bench to sit on. The airlock kept the outside really outside. The only outside really was what we brought in. That is why the Airlock is a cool idea. You can detox the playa outside the living area if it bugs you a lot.
Also the Airlock roof inside the hexayurt made a nice place to put a fan and light and stuff like that.
