Now that I think about it, hmm. At the end of each trip, the playa dust has
gotten in between the foil and the bidi tape. I peel off all the
sacrificial foil tape, wash it, put on new foil tape, and put it away.

You got me thinking: maybe if I used a foil tape with better glue then the
dust wouldn't get in and ruin it.
