Cecilia, K&K pick-ups were already in my mind. However, using the big twin, you still have only one type of sound. It is still not possible to, for instance, put the chien more backwards in the mix. Still, I would very much like to hear a raw recording of your HG equipped with the pick-ups in order to decide. So, if you please ....
By the way, everything is cheaper on the continent. The only backside on the UK is the strong pound. I would by the K&K's in Germany too, VAT is 19% instead of 21% in Belgium.
