U.S. Evangelists to boost Israel support in wake of Hamas win
While many Arabs and Muslims are still in deep denial as to the nature of what is taking place in Palestine and all throughout the Muslim world, these evangelicals have their eyes wide open and are unapologetic when expressing their feelings. Their main talking point, whether is it valid or not, is that there is a religious war taking place pitting Islam against Christianity. The fact that the President of the United States, George W. Bush, indentifies with these people, and that he has consistently used religious language when discussing the so called war on terrorism, including the word crusade, should speak volumes. Sadly, Muslims just seem to refuse to admit what is taking place. A crusade against Islam is in its beginning stages, and we have not seen anything yet. This will be discussed in detail in Abid Jan Ullah's forthcoming and extensively documented book "Afghanistan: The Genesis of the Final Crusade"

20 reasons to question the official story of 9/11
(1) While the government has consistently stated that it did not know where the aircraft were before they struck, the Secretary of Transportation testified before the 9/11 Commission that Vice President Cheney monitored flight 77 for many miles as it approached the Pentagon and -- when a military man asked "do the orders still stand?" -- Cheney responded affirmatively....

Fetzer, Wayne Madsen, John McMurtry, Morgan Reynolds, and Andreas von Buelow, have concluded that senior government officials have covered up crucial facts about what really happened on 9/11.

George Bush and Cheney have committed high crimes including treason...
Mssrs. Bush and Cheney lied to Congress and the American people in order to invade Iraq. Thousands of American servicemen and mercenaries have died in this military action against Iraq. Many times that amount of innocent foreigners have died as well. By needlessly casting the US in the role of an aggressor nation, which has already caused the death of thousands of innocent US military personnel, Mssrs. Bush and Cheney have committed treason. This demonstrates that they are nothing more than war criminals like Hitler and Stalin.

If This Be Treason
While I do not know, as of this writing, whether Democrats will muster a filibuster of the Alito nomination, I have no doubt that this vote will follow senators around, for good or for ill, for the rest of their lives, in the same way that Colin Powells infamous powdered-sugar presentation to the UN will follow him to the grave -- and for similar reasons. When Alito gets in, things are going to change. Our whole way of life, in fact. The New York Times seems to have realized this at the eleventh hour, for whatever mysterious but welcome reason.

Alito - It's the Constitution That's At Stake
The vote this week about Samuel Alito is not a vote about Republicans versus Democrats. It's a vote about the future of democracy in the United States of America.
As our legislators vote, we must carefully note their positions on this issue. Their oath of office is not to the President or even to "protect the people," but to the Constitution. And it is the Constitution - and the future of our democratic republic - that is at stake here.

Rank Ignorance Reigns
Just as there was no evidence that Iraq was developing nuclear weapons, there is no evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. There is nothing but unproven assertions, assertions, moreover, that are contradicted by the evidence that does exist. Americans, it would appear, are so anxious for wars that they welcome being fooled into them.

Petrodollar Warfare
Interview With William R. Clark, Author "Petrodollar Warfare: Oil, Iraq and the Future of the Dollar"
The notion that Iraq was invaded to prevent the development of weapons of mass destruction, or to combat terrorism, has long been discredited. But a growing consensus believes that Iraq's oil was surely a prime reason for US actions. However, author William Clark argues convincingly in Petrodollar Warfare that the rationale for intervening was not just for control of the oil fields, but also for control of the means by which oil is traded in global markets.
