Is there a reference (or a source file I've missed) which shows the
relation between the TE_* messages on the server side and the
functions used to create them on the client side?

Specifically, how do I create the beam cylinder or torus effects on the
client side? There doesn't seem to be a direct EFX function to draw
them.
