Personally because of the complexity range of maps these days, and the
desire to make maps that push the envelope,
I think it would be better to leave the algorithm as is and let mappers
tweak the PVS table for each leaf.
This would be ideal.

It would be wonderful if this editing could be done in hammer 3.6.

XP-Cagey is still working on the compile tools. Do you think there could me
an efficient algorithm to optimize the PVS table? (The original tools were
quite lazy speed and optimization wise.) Distance culling is fine, too.
Maybe he would add some piece of code for this. He already made RAD faster
and added other stuff so his tool set is the most up to date set available.

of the tools, because he wants to create a new tool set from scratch anyway
and needs some coders to update them until they are finished :)
