- Include the version number in the game description string. It's not a tragedy if you do this. - Change the name of the game directory, such that clients will fail to even see servers of any other versions. - Write a small HTTP query to your central server which grabs the most recent version and displays a window to the user if necessary. - A billion jillion other things.
