I've had the same problems with my mod -- occasionally -- for weeks, if not a month or two. I thought it was related to my implemation of my Maxsi Distribution technology for automatic updates, but if you're getting it too then it's rather stange. Even more if you're using the Ep1 engine and I'm using the OB engine.
I think some of my testers had that problem too, but weren't aware of it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jed" <[email protected]> To: "Discussion of Half-Life Programming" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 19, 2009 10:10 PM Subject: [hlcoders] hl2.exe not completely exiting when quitting mod? > Something odd has just recently starting happening with our EP1 based mod. > > Whenever we quit out the game window closes but if you try to start > the game again it says the game is unavailable.
