Please dont say go to adminmod forum, this is a hl
issue with setinfo being dropped after map change...
I run a dedicated server on a different pc then my
client and when map changes setinfo information for my
adminmod password gets dropped i can exec the password
every round and it doesnt drop me but it gets to be a
hassle. I have my config.cfg read-only dont know if
this is the problem but an open config.cfg can be
messed with by admins on server with clent exec. also
if setinfo gets written to config.cfg and i connect to
another server i guess the server will get my
password. so this is my problem. Did the hl 1.1.0.8
update change setinfo command so its dropped for some
kind of anti-cheat thing? basically setinfo for my
password stays the whole round map changes i connect
to new map and then its cleared so next round since i
dont have the password set adminmod kicks me.
