I'm not sure I understand your question. All I was saying is it's going to be a little spendy to run this setup from home. It sounds as if he got pretty lucky where he was at and got a very reliable service. He's going to want to get an sDSL line and just see how it works. Maybe the phone lines are not as bad as he has heard.

For commercial lines (Frame, T1, etc.) I recommend at least giving these
guys an email:

They don't sell IP.  They are basically headhunters and will go get a
bunch of quotes and send them out to you from various providers.  You
pay nothing to them.  They make their money off referral (my guess
anyway) from the provider.  It's as easy as it gets (and no I don't work
for them, I just had a really good experience with them).
