And you have every right to hate having your settings changed, and should be
able to block this - but it shouldn't be default behaviour.

I have to say that this is an excellent update, server operators have been
slowhacking clients way too long.

Just a few days ago someone posted on this very list how to maliciously mess
up a client, and the responses from many of you were all on the order of
"man that's a good one mwahahahahahahahaaaaaaa"

The way I see it, you guys brought this on yourselves.

It's about time Valve gave clients the ability to prevent this from
happening.

I personally hate going into servers and find my rates and basic settings
changed all over the place.
