But back on topic, VAC is seriously outdated, I guess it's just not a priority for Valve. Their fanbase still trusts VAC, just try to start a discussion in the VAC forums and you will see. Ironicly it's also the easiest way to get banned from the forums and the mods usually locks everything up. I can't blame them, the avarage steam forumite havnt even figured out that insecure servers are insecure, they just think it means the warning is gone so that Valve can catch more cheaters. True story, just look at the VAC forums. Acutally don't, there is nothing there worth seeing. 8 months ago I uploaded videos of 5 cheaters. 1 of them was banned after about a month. 8 months later he's still the only one caught by VAC and most of them were blatent, only AJ2005 were not completely obvious since he "only" used a wallhack.
