Hey Community,
With all the recent buzz about the last IPv4 IP assignments have been
handed out by IANA, i'm curious, and haven't been able to find much
information with regards to steam/valve and IPv6. Will Valve will be
ready? Will they participate in World IPv6 Day? (
http://isoc.org/wp/worldipv6day/ ) It would be nice to have some time to
start figuring out how this will be affecting the many communities,
gameserver providers, and players alike in the following couple years.
Will we finally see the implementation of DNS names in the server
browsers? (That would be nice)
Does anyone have any information on this? With over 30 million users on
steam now, it would be nice to have at least a placeholder page up with
some details!
