[OT and last add] Ken,
You cant possibly be serious into thinking that Valve does the distribution via steam for free do you? Its the view of the players on both Treyarch/Activision as well as Valve which get bad hits. Steam = Valve Its the distribution/DRM/sales system of Valve. Valve has the power to demand proper working programming being distributed over its system if they wanted to. Simply adding a clause in the (new) contracts to pressure developers to address problems in their programming ASAP as they get raised. Its not that hard and I am sure it would be 101% legal in the US too. They co-exist, but Steam just SOLD black ops through their direct download service, VALVe did not develop a single part of Black ops, Treyarch did. I'm not sure why you're sitting here ranting at developer (Valve) about a game they didn't produce. Ken. Valve doesnt care, otherwise they would a secondary site for that. Plus the pennies are in the bag. [OT] If Valve cared about players (customers) then they would hang Treyarch by the balls for what they (didnt) do with COD BO. Make a stand for the players and demand fixing. Counter-Strike (the old) is the most played game according to Steam store stats page <http://store.steampowered.com/stats> . I think Valve will lose an amount of its player base if the decide not to support IPv6 in their servers. 2011/3/13 MeZelf <[email protected]> Havent researched it, but I really doubt HLDS is IP6 ready. Valve is likely to NOT include IP6 support into it and let it die. Which means that with the end of IP4 a number of (old) games will no longer be available.
