Back in 1996 when I did my very first CNE training, there was already talk 
about 
IPv6 being tested cos address space was "soon not enough"... now 15 years later 
I'd say the IANA should have stopped giving out addresses 5 years ago for IPv4, 
only on absolutely need to have IPv4 to do an exception on per situ base. And 
by 
that force rolling out IPv6. Now its a "go IPv6, or die" situation. 


That being said, I've ordered 50.000 IPv6 addresses, need to give IP's to all 
things in my home... (probably not enough) from the spoons up to the roof 
tiles, 
at least it will be wireless connected, but the traffic will be intense. I 
mean... when it will be snowing the rooftiles need to communicate with the 
beams 
they lie on, about added weight, the beams ... /jest
