Remember the outage of the Auth. servers a year ago because Valve placed
those at only *1* site?

Valve doesn’t care, otherwise they would a secondary site for that.

Plus the pennies are in the bag.

If Valve cared about players (customers) then they would hang Treyarch by
the balls for what they (didn’t) do with COD BO.

Make a stand for the players and demand fixing.

That would be a self-backstabbing for them. Counter-Strike (the old) is the
most played game according to Steam store stats page

its player base if the decide not to support IPv6 in their servers.

Haven’t researched it, but I really doubt HLDS is IP6 ready.

Valve is likely to NOT include IP6 support into it and let it die.

 

Which means that with the end of IP4 a number of (old) games will no longer
be available.
