One could argue: Now more so than ever. By tricking quickplay you can have a full server in minutes. To add to that, use of fakeplayers is now low considered to what it was before. Making it even more effective.
I don't think wonkagaming will be releasing anything though. This is just his way of attempting to elicit a personal response from valve. I bet they stopped responding to his emails. There were better ways of bringing this particular issue to light in public. One that did not involve threats and offending other users.
