Don't forget Ross that the map started as pl_swift before swiftwater and there indeed has been numerous versions of it.

If and when they test a map, they will make a thorough test on it. I asked once if they could test one of my maps - and they did. Took them nearly 2 months to get to it due to workload but eventually, i got the feedback that i asked for. I can't be 100% certain on this but i think swiftwater has some of the flaws that mine had and they might have tested it before and rejected it due to that.

But they don't really talk about these things.

Which version of Swiftwater?

Part of Swiftwater's problem is that the author keeps changing it. Even now, there are two major versions currently in circulation: pl_swiftwater_final_rc (the public version) and pl_swiftwater_ugc (the comp Highlander version).

Also, keep in mind that there were twenty "final release candidates" before the current rc... swiftwater has been in almost perpetual beta for years.

Lastly, what's the deal with only a single resupply cabinet in RED's huge spawn room?

I know this isn't the place for feature requests, but I
have to ask a question that seems obvious in the light of
            the recent beta map release:

Why isn't pl_swiftwater in the standard map distribution?
It's been thoroughly tested and another good PL map would
be well received in the community at least in my opinion.
There has to be a reason considering process and
snakewater are all former competitive maps now in the
            standard distribution, why not swiftwater?

As Frank pointed out, having a Community Server option

that, but it's disabled for the Beta maps.
