Hi Please stop correcting me without even trying it out - the bug exists and that is obvious. Of course you don't aim on a invisible hitbox. It's all about situations where you see an enemy player for such a short time that you can't hit him normally because you can't shoot that fast. Our brain has a reaction time of maybe around 30-100 ms if you aim already at the right position, depending on how focused you are. So you just set interpolate to 0 and interp to this time and you'll hit in such a situation. I don't want to discuss this issue any more in this mailing list, it's not really appropriate. If you think this is a minor issue or even a disadvantage - fine. But just remember that there was a very similiar bug in CS 1.5 and Valve even released a small server update to fix it, which was something rather unusual at that time.
