If you don't want to wait, you could always hire a Linux expert for 20 bucks
from getafreelancer.com.

I had issues with my kernel aswell (machine refused to boot everytime), so
at the end when I got so highly frustrated, I hired some dude from India or
so and he fixed it for 20 bucks, completely compiled for my wishes, and
directly stripped from all junk.

I have a difficult set-up in regards to getting my kernel recompiled/custom
compiled - however will be able to upgrade the distribution from 6.06 up to
8.04 with the latest "tickless" kernel coming out next month. Thanks for all
of the input guys - hopefully when the new kernel hits this will smooth
itself out and I'll be able to see FPS of greater then 50fps and get some
people on my server without that choppiness.

I am normally against top posting, but do tend to be lazy outside of the
other technical mailing lists I post to. ; )

Thanks guys,

~Steve
