Here is a new twist on the age-old "server not appearing in steam browser"
problem. I loaded linux onto the box. Nothing else has changed. The server
files are the same, the cfgs are the same, I'm running it out of the same
directory. People can connect to the server directly via my ip, but the
server is no longer on the steam browser. The server box ip address has not
changed - if it had, people would not be able to connect via ip. The port is
properly forwarded - if it were not, people would not be able to connect.
All I did was switch the OS from Windows to linux. Is there anything special
I might need to do to make it appear on the steam browser?

I'm running Slackware 12.1. Server connects via gigibit nic to WRT54RG v2 or
3 (it's an older one) running tomato firmware, via Westell modem...I forget
the model, it's a newer one I had to get because my 2100 didn't support 10Mb
download speeds. I've had this setup for over three years, and it's worked
fine all this time.

Server is an Opposing Force (gearbox) server
