The order of + parameters do matter as that is the order they are executed.
However, mixing - parameters in the middle shouldn't make a difference since
nothing happens with the + parameters until valve.rc executes stuffcmds.

Ok I don't admit to know all, but at least the example I gave got the
person's server running.  Fair enough - I'll remember that in future.

Order of parameters doesn't matter whatsoever.

the default anyway, but we find its best to specify it (causes less lag when
running multiple servers and we find 33 is good enough anyway.)

best run near start of the script command as the game is gonna want to
update before loading any maps or configs.

needed / used, because the "console" is the only option for Linux users. And
finally, I thought -tickrate was removed for OB based games?

action before loading any maps.  The map specified was also wrong (should be
ctf_2fort) so nothing appears to happen after the server initialises.  You
also need to tell SRCDS to run the admin console (for obvious reasons.)
Example of correct script:

> xx.xx.xxx.xx +port 27015 +maxplayers 10 -tickrate 100 +map ctf_2fort

superflous commands like "-net_queuesplits 0" or "-nobots" etc.  Get it
working in basic form first, then try these extra commands later, one by
one.

Continuing with current version anyway.
