Kind of small sample to make a sweeping generalization from. My group may be an exception, though few other US based contributors make me thing it's a small minority making a lot of noise. The group I joined three years ago had one guy who been pricipal for many years. He just felt it was time to move down. Every once in a while a piece would come up he wanted to play first on and the switch was made. Then he would move back to third.
