Just to simplify, when printing with my Design Jet 90, I work up the shot in Photoshop. I save the image, and then I open Qimage, nothing else is open. I let Qimage manage everything but I do make sure I have the right ICC chosen in the Qimage menu, and the paper/canvas to match.
Just doing that has meant terrific prints, no Rips or anything. The pics match my monitor, give and take a bit for differences between monitors and papers.
