This is worrying, there seems to be more than a few of us with this problem. I was lucky UK HP customer services worked hard for me and managed to find me a dealer which still had it in stock, so I could get a replacement. BUT, UK HP customer services said to me that the printer is discontinued and they (HP) do not have any service parts for it any more. > > As far as using the holder in the way that people use the pvc pipes > with the standard printers I think this is ruled out due to the > replacement back section on the 130nr which provides the roll feed. > This doesn't work without the power from the roll feed holder so won't > accept paper properly. Yeap, I was working like this for two months, it drove my stress levels through the roof. The paper feed system is very very picky with purchased sheets and rolls, so cutting your own is really hard, I have 24 inch guillotine and this would often require many cuts before the printer would take up a sheet. When I had commissioned sales over the last month or so it took all myself control not to throw the printer out of the window. Coupled with the fact the HP paper picks up finger prints easily, doing all this with cotton gloves on was not fun....................
