HP are aware of the problem, and will shortly put a new version of the file on their website. There is a long thread on this on the printers forum on Luminous Landscape. And how are you going to run that update if your formatter, and with it both I/O ports a not functional? At the moment the printer behaves like it has no formatter at all installed. A dnj3100 without a formatter will show the same error. Maybe HP will release some kind of emergency firmware update that can access the formatter even when it's not recognized by the printer, but since I know of no emergency firmware update mode available to the public, I doubt it. ------------------------------------ Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
