I don't know exactly how this works. z/VM installation is very simple compared to z/OS installation. But then, z/VM really is a much simplier system in many ways. z/Linux, at least SUSE Linux SLES 10-RC3, comes on a DVD. You can IPL the DVD using the HMC. You then must have the DVD available via http, ftp, nfs, or smb. Nothing more too it. But again, in many ways, z/Linux is also much simplier than z/OS. -- John McKown Senior Systems Programmer HealthMarkets Keeping the Promise of Affordable Coverage Administrative Services Group Information Technology This message (including any attachments) contains confidential information intended for a specific individual and purpose, and its content is protected by law.
