Personally I doubt that the performance degradation would even be
noticeable, how long does a CA split take these days?
Like in very old days: A LOT MORE THAN RECORD INSERT in available free space.
The question is how important is performance of HSM KSDS.
From the other hand size of HSM CDSes can also be important factor, especially
when it's close to 4GB. Although it is possible to grow beyond 4GB limit, but
it requires some actions.
