>We have a WLC licence for our z890 machine. It's becoming very frequent that >this machine is capped, even for many hours due to 4-hour rolling average >exceeding the capping limit.
This is not necessarily a problem. Are all your service levels being met? >According to someone all is ok, according my humble opinion this is not true, Same question as above. >WLM should be changed to accomodate our workload, but unlukily I'm not a z/OS >sysprog, I'm only the shop boy. Would you like it if the sysprog second guessed your job? I assume your sysprogs are experts in their fields, as you are in yours. So, why don't you (as long as service levels are met) trust them, as they should be trusting you. 100%, or a 4-hour cap, is not necessarily a bad thing. Remember, z/OS is designed to run flat out! - Too busy driving to stop for gas! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
