Is this also true with your increased size? If not, is it possible that the RACF records increased? We had, - and I say had, because after seeing the increase in the size of the SMF data, we convinced the internal auditors to let go of the idea - an auditing requirement to record all dataset access... If any sort of change in this area had taken place on your system, that might be something to look at. Once you find the origin of your irritation, please let me know, it is nice to keep these things in mind before making changes to a system.
